WHO WE ARE

The FSGC is a multi-sectoral network of public, private and voluntary organizations dedicated to developing healthier food environments in public facilities, worksites, and other institutional settings through coordinated efforts. The FSGC supports and promotes best practices that align with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and advances a food system that conserves and renews natural resources, advances social justice and animal welfare and builds community wealth.

We leverage the collective expertise of its membership to develop and amplify resources and best practices that advance strong policies and further food service implementation best practices in the following areas:

We work across a range of workplace and institutional settings and supports the use of guidelines that provide standards on dietary quality, sustainability, energy efficiency, behavioral design, and equitable practices.
